Terms & Conditions
PLEASE REMEMBER :
♡ Rental price includes dry cleaning, please don’t wash or dry clean any of our garments.
♡ In cases that the item is damaged, lost or stolen, you will be charged the full price to purchase the item. If the style is not available for purchase , the charge will be for the full retail price.
♡ If the garment is not returned or the renter refuses to pay for repair, legal personnel will be contacted and a copy of your ID will be submitted to the appropriate authorities. ID will be taken on confirmation of garment.
♡ Bond will be returned via bank transfer or in cash regardless of payment method.
IDENTIFICATION :
♡ Any form of ID such as a driver’s licence with your full name and address will be required when making a booking with @hire.return. This will be needed prior to pick up/try ons.
TRY ONS :
♡ Try ons are located in our northern suburb studio (Thornbury).
♡ A photo of ID is to be issued to one of our team members before trying on garments.
BOND :
♡ A bond will be applied to the garment on top of the renting price.
♡ The bond price will depend on the brand of the garment and on enquiring of outfit you will be informed about the price of the bond.
♡ The bond is refundable via bank transfer once the item is received back in the same condition it was in prior to the rental.
♡ If there is any damage done to the garment, repair costs will be taken from the bond provided.
♡ Damage includes any alteration to the dress that wasn’t present before hire, this includes fake tan stains etc.
♡ If the garment is returned later than the agreed upon date and has resulted in another renter not being able to get the dress the bond may not be refunded.
CANCELLATIONS :
♡ In a case of a cancellation unless given adequate notice which is to be arranged by our @hire.return team then the bond of the item will not be refunded.
♡ Bond fee will be refunded if the garment isn’t worn and is returned later on in the day. (Our garment needs to have proof of pre-rent condition in order for a store credit to be given if the dress hasn’t been worn)
PAYMENTS :
♡ Bank transfer is recommended to secure the date of a particular garment.
♡ Cash will be accepted if a meet up has been arranged but may be subject to change if someone else decides to bank transfer on the same day as your preferred rent.
DAMAGE :
♡ Once your garment has arrived/been picked up, please check that the garment is in renting condition.
♡ If the item is returned damaged, repair costs will be deducted from the bond and if the cost to repair is greater than bond, you will be asked for further costs. By renting from us, you agree to pay these extra charges within a reasonable amount.
♡ If damage of an item can’t be repaired then you will either be asked to pay for the same garment or in a case of the garment not being available a transfer of money for up to the RRP will be required.
RETURNS :
♡ Must contact hire.return once it’s been dispatched!!
♡ If you refuse, authorities will be contacted and it may be treated as theft.
♡ A police report will be filed and a call to your local police station may be made.
LATE FEES :
♡ Standard hire period is 5 days including the item(s) being picked up/delivered the day prior to the date.
♡ If you require a longer rental period, a further fee will be applied. This will need to be communicated with adequate time prior to hire.
♡Australia post can be unreliable so we understand there may be a delay, all we need to make sure there isn’t any late fees for you is a copy of proof that the garment has been sent within the 5 day hire period.
REFUNDS :
♡ Refunds aren’t given but a store credit is provided if the reason behind not wearing a garment is sufficient.
♡ In the instance where your item does not fit, a full refund isn’t offered only 50% will be returned as we do offer try ons (this includes interstate hires).
♡ In the instance where the renter is unsatisfied with the condition of the item within reason and provided proof, a credit note will be issued.
♡ Refunds are not included when posting receiving a refund!
POSTAGE :
♡ We offer express postage by Australian Post.
♡ A tracking number is provided with express shipping. If standard shipping is preferred then this is on the individual to get the item back in time.
♡ We will provide you with a prepaid express satchel (for express) with our address already on it for return.
♡ We do not take any responsibility for shipping times and any delays associated with Australia Post.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS MAY CHANGE AND ITS IMPORTANT BEFORE RENTING THAT YOU READ THROUGH THEM BEFORE RENTING AN ITEM TO BE CLEAR THE AGREEMENT IS BINDING AND EACH RENTER TAKES RESPONSIBILITY FOR SIGNING IN REGARDS TO THE CONDITIONS
